Well, it has been an exciting time changes and to reflect.
First off, I am no longer in the band Anger As Art.
Plainly put, since the change of our last drummer the music has taken a deep turn for the worse. The singer/guitarist who started the band chose a good friend of his, first mistake. This past weekend was great. Not that anytime before was any different. Other than my older brother missing from this year's festivity, it was humbling. Since my brothers passing a few months ago, my uncle, my mom's brother passed away two weeks ago.... (continue reading)

I`m of Mexican descent and proud of my heritage.
First generation American, born in Chicago and transplanted to
California when I was very young.
For this site, MiGente, I`ve met some really cool people here and
I`ve met some really flaky people. What can be said is that nothing
ventured, nothing gained. Life is what it is and what you make of
it. You make the best of what`s thrown at you and you go on from
there.
I don't drink and don't smoke. I use to and have adopted the idea
early on "been there, done that". So, I have attained a healthy
lifestyle. I run, mountain bike ride and yoga. I run mostly 10K's
and have ran a few longer runs, 15K's, 18K's and will go on to run
my first marathon. By years end I will have ran my first trail run.
I'm preparing towards running my very first 50 miler. The mountain
bike riding is for cross training purposes. But, who knows, I may
attempt a mountain bike ride too!
Yoga and meditation is all about keeping mind, body and soul
balanced. Don't get me wrong, I am not a fanatic about it nor do I
preach my healthy lifestyle to anyone. It works for me and I go
with it. I from time to time, indulge in lifes guilty pleasures.
It's all about balance in that respect too!
I believe that for the most part, there are some great, cool people
who are genuine and turn out to be some really great friends that
will be there for time to come. I`m a genuine straight up guy with
very, VERY low tolerance for drama, flakes and ignorant people. I
believe in agree to disagree, respect all for their
differences.
I work in the Film Industry for the past 17 years. It`s been great.
A lot of perks, seen a lot of movies before they are released and
met a lot of people in the industry. I`m also a musician for 24
years. I was in a band called Anger As Art. As with all things in
life, things change for the better. I have a new band I will soon
announce with the overhaul in my band profile, stay tuned.
