I love my island and all its people. I believe that we must not forget where we come from but more important we must not forget where we are going.
Many people try too hard to impress others without trying to impress themselves.
I believe that to look deep dark recesses of ones soul you may find yourself overwhelmed, Sometimes you find that what you were really looking for is out on the surface and not in the deep in a person, It is only by being true to yourself that you find the truth in others, the only way to know another is to also know yourself. Life is too short and the clock is ticking... I am not looking for the superficial or the complicated. I just want to meet someone with substance who isn`t afraid to be their selves. Don`t give me something artificially deep or shallow, I`m not interested in that. I challenge you to challenge me. Give me something real and not something fake, practiced, or without substance. Love all for who they are and not who you want them to be. Love yourself for who you are and not what you think others want you to be.
Before I go I have to holla out to all my NYC, Windy City, Philly, Na`leans, and Miami peeps. I claim Brooklyn but I finished high school in South Florida and it has been home ever since. As a military brat I moved many times to many places but I never forgot where I came from.
