I believe good relationships stem from nurturing a good friendship first!!..Getting to know that persons true self and not their representative "so to speak", in this manner I believe you will eventually know if their is a true connection or not, if not? Then you have gained a friend. If you are seeking a serious relationship then you will invest the time, know what you want, and persue it, not only with words but, with action, ACTIONS SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!..(SOME OF U DON'T GET IT!!) INTIMIDATED BY A WOMAN THAT SPEAKS HER MIND, AND KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS IN A TRUE GENTLEMAN???<<<(KEYWO RD) THEN IM NOT THE ONE FOR YOU!! IF NOT THEN here is the begining of your investment ! !! woman is proud of herself. She respects herself and others. She is aware of who she is. She neither seeks definition from the person she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs. A good woman is hopeful. She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true. She knows love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated.. If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears. A good woman has a dash of inspiration, a dabble of endurance. She knows that she will, at times, have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them. A good woman knows her past, understands her present and moves toward the future. A good woman knows God. She knows that with God the world is her playground, but without God she will just be played. A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons, meant to bring her closer to self knowledge and unconditional self love.
I've noticed on my journey that there are lots of people that are lost and are confused on what it takes to enter into a relationship or at least attempt to date. Here's my take; unless you have cleared your path of all that is holding you back (past, resentments, etc.,) none of your attempts will be met with success.
You can not in all honestly expect someone to come into your life while you're holding "MALETAS" from your past or even present they will follow you into the future. We have all had bad relationships, this is nothing new! Learning from these experiences only help us grow even though they may be sad, painful or disappointing, it allows us to take a personal inventory and better ourselves so that we may not fall prey to that again. This also allows us to update that list we have been carrying around in our heads on what we "THINK" the perfect partner for us maybe. (oh you should see mine)!
I have met and talked to some people here that have come off as Strong, Independent and collected; only to find out they are weak, dependent and are looking for refuge. One person can NOT make you complete, you must be WHOLE before one can step foot in your life. Otherwise the other person will be working overtime trying to make it right for both of you ending in frustration, resentment etc.
One must be honest with oneself in order to be honest with someone else. One must give respect in order to earn it. These are not qualities that are a given as you have noticed! You can not have Baby Mama Drama, Ex-wife/GF issues, these are your issues and must be addressed before you even invite someone else in to your life. We all have past history, but it shouldn't keep coming up like bad indigestion! Handle your business! If something starts wrong, it ends wrong!
Women today, have become stronger, more independent and self reliant. We have had to be Mothers and Fathers to our children and are looking for "MEN" that can respect us, not bring/knock us down, because we can take care of ourselves. We do not set out to make you feel inadequate because of our strength we want to share it with you. We are nurturing by nature, Strong because of our sacrifices, wise due to our experiences and Love profoundly because we produce Love! This should be an asset to any man.
We are not attracted to arrogant, cocky, self absorbed men, that think they are gods Gift! I dont remember asking for that for Christmas or any other time!!! There are men and women alike on this site that are serious about finding someone, But not just anyone, they are here to find their equal, their partner, their lover, their confidant, their friend. The person that not only makes them smile on the outside but on the inside as well. The only way this can be achieved is that two parties must enter into this Honestly, respectfully and whole heartedly.
You can only hide behind the screen of your computer for so long, before your found out (men and woman alike) eventually if your intentions are NOT good, you will be found out and forgotten like yesterdays news! It is also up to us, to read people, learn people, listen to people. Do not be swayed by a coke and a smile! A lick and a promise! I will gladly pay you on Tuesday for a burger today!!!! LOL. You want Repsect? Give it! You want Honesty? Live it! You want Love? Be it! People create their own reality, You decide whether you want to be happy or not. You should know who you are, and where your going and the only Question you should be asking is "With Whom" that is when you know your ready! BE HAPPY, LIVE ~ LOVE ~ LAUGH "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got"
