What else can be said...when you love music you put your everything into it. Hip-Hop is an art that gives us a way to voice our opinion. An art that allows us to be heard when everything else that happens in this world drowns us out. whether you MC or you bang on the MP you are speaking to the world in the fashion that you were born to. We need to treat Hip-Hop as that. Keep it fun and funky but also keep it educational. whatever passion that you have you should put everything you have into it. If you dont then you havent done what your higher power has put you here to do. Make your name ring whether you are here in the flesh or not. If you make music make it timeless. Make music that can be listened to 20 years from now and still be respected. Master your art and stop shitting on the next man because he or she isnt doing whats hot. If everyone did what was hot at that moment there would be no diversity. Talent is whats respected, Not how many songs you can write a day or how many beats you bang out. Its about you ability to move and touch people with what you do.
Now on to the about me part.....I am 28 years young. Quincy Allen is my goverment name.... Black and White 6ft 4in like 190, But who cares about all that right. I am a General Engineer for Northrop Grumman during the day and at night I stay in the lab (studio). Production is my drug. From the time I get off until I hit the bed I am perfecting my craft. Thats what I want to do in life and always has been. Grew up in Choir/Band, started MC'n around 14 and got into DJ'ing when I was in the military. After I got out the military I started buying equipment to produce. I have always loved good production. My influnences started early with Gangstarr....DJ Premier to be exact. That cat is a genius with his. Not trying to get 50 Cent money with this music....Just want to be able to live comfortably. I do this more for the love. I am a Hip-Hop head to the death..Have been ever since I heard The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. Love music from all walks of life.
