I'm a Taurus, born 05-17-83, a God-fearing, sound woman who loves reading books of all genres (especially mystery and fantasy novels), smell goods (perfumes, candles, lotions), music (alternative, a little bit of country and a smidgen of rock and roll, R & B, conscious rap like Talib, Mos Def, Common, The Roots), and just bettering myself as a person. I am a very giving person, but I know that with giving and sharing, one has to be cautious. What else? I had past dreams of teaching college literature, but I now want to work with non-profit organizations that focus on providing tools and programs to enhance literacy especially in rural and urban areas. I have always been a bibliophile (lover of books) since I was a child and I love dissecting literature, working with themes, symbolism, and just looking at how literature is often a reflection of the times. I graduated from Truman State in December of '05 with a BA in English, and God willing, should be finished with my Master's in English December 2011. No kids (but would like some in the future and am very motherly), I hate smoke of any sort, drink socially (I love wine). I am a member of the MOST PRESTIGIOUS sorority, SIGMA LAMBDA GAMMA NATIONAL SORORITY, INC! N.B.O.S. POR VIDA! I have never been a cliquish person; I pretty much can get along with anyone. Oh, I love, love, love NBA and I have not been able to watch b-ball in ages, it seems, due to working. I'm blabbing, though, so if you want to know more, inquire within.
