Kurse A.K.A. Mr. Anger Manij'ment is a new upcoming Hip-Hop artist that hails from Chicago's South side. As a production artist and lyricist, Kurse brings a unique style to the table with beats and lyrics that are unorthadox compared to your average Chicago artist. Born as Rock Bueno at Michael Reese Hospital in the heart of the Windy City, Kurse spent his early years growing up in Bolingbrook, IL about 45 minutes West of the city. Shortly after his parents split when he was only 4 years old, he relocated under his mother's custody back to Chicago in the Bridgeport area where he first discovered his appreciation for Rap music. With heavy hitting influences such as Tupac, Big Daddy Kane, Heavy D & Ya Kid K from Technotronic...Kurse's path was now beginning to unfold before him. As his early teens struck, Kurse and his mother relocated to a nicer area in the Southwest burbs. Now living in Lombard, Kurse attended Willowbrook High School ten minutes from home. But by the time he hit 17 he moved out of the house for the first time and began to explore the world around him, not yet knowing where in life he was going.  From this point on...all Kurse did was work in his poetry book, work full-time and party full time. Until in '99, Kurse met someone who kind of guided him in the direction of music and sparked his musical interests right after he graduated high school. Before you knew it, his book of poems was turned in for a book to write songs in. For years Kurse wrote song after song but never had anybody to make music for him. Worse yet, between moving in and out of his mothers house over the years, Kurse technically never owned a computer or laptop for himself, so the idea of having a program to make music was kind of non-existant. Mr. Anger Manij'ment's music was always on the back burner due to the importance of making an income and financially supporting his living situations until the middle of '04. In May of '04, Kurse hooked up with a small group of amature artists in Lombard and began dedicating every Monday night to making music with them. With the 3 of them writing songs and the other two artists producing the tracks...Mr. Manij'ment was really beginning to get his feet wet in the music area and beginning to learn how to work and create tracks using various music programs. Not too long after they released a few tracks to local a DJ for a Hip-Hop remix CD that came out, the trio went their own individual ways to seek their fortunes elsewhere. Come the close of the year, Kurse finally found a way of investing into a laptop and getting his hands on the music programs needed to get the ball rolling. So in Janurary of '05, Mr. Manij reversed the play of things and decided that the music that he had been doing and kept on the back burner for so long...needed to be put to the front. So at that point on, Kurse dedicated full-time hours to working on a debut album and co-producing tracks for other upcoming Chicago artists.  Kurse currently resides on the South side of Chicago where he works on his tracks during the week nights, and spends time with his lovely 4 year old daughter Natalie on the weekends. His current Freshman project is entitled THE RECIPE 4 DISASTER EP and is due for release in late June of '06 and contains 5 original tracks produced and performed by Mr. Manij'ment himself. Also keep your eyes open for his full length album dropping December of '06, THE ANGER MANIJ'MENT LP. The LP contains 18 tracks, 2 of them skits and it not only displays the talents of Kurse...but other various Chicago artists and groups as well. Kurse still remains unsigned by any major label to this day and is in his "rookie" year as far as his music is concerned...he still looks forward to collaborating with other artists.
