"Let it go" for 2008..

There are people who can walk away from you.

And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over and you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.

Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to......

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ......

LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth.....

LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you ........

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......

LET IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents......

LET IT GO!!!

If you have a bad attitude.......

LET IT GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......

LET IT GO!!!

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him......

LET IT GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship...............

LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves.....

LET IT GO!!!

If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........

LET IT GO!!!

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying 'take your hands off of it,' then you need to......

LET IT GO!!!

Let the past be the past. Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new thing for 2008!!!

LET IT GO!!!

Get Right or Get Left. Think about it, and then........

1 Samuel 22:1-2 TM The " Church of Adullam " (2) Although he was raised in a good home, Whit Criswell got hooked on gambling and ended up embezzling from the bank where he worked. When the auditors found out, he decided to end his life. He wrote a suicide note, drove to the outskirts of town, parked his car and put a gun to his head, saying, "Go ahead, you no-good slob, it's what you deserve." But he couldn't do it. So at dawn he returned home where police arrested him. He felt humiliated being handcuffed in front of his friends and family. But he was also liberated, because he no longer had to live a lie. Criswell's prison cell became his " cave of Adullam ," the place where he turned back to God. When he was released he joined a church doing odd jobs, and eventually became a staff member. In 1998 another church asked him to be their senior pastor, and today it's one of Kentucky 's fastest growing congregations. Another cave dweller "ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven," by the amazing grace of God! The introduction to Psalm 57 describes it as "A song of David when he fled from Saul into the cave." In the first verse he says, "Be merciful to me, O God.my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by" (NKJV). Are you feeling down on your luck today? Do you see yourself as damaged goods? Instead of wandering alone in the wilderness, come and find what you need in God's presence; come, find purpose and direction among His people in the " Church of Adullam ."

"The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces."

Proverbs 30:28

Some spiders have so much venom in them that they can kill anything they come in contact with, simply by releasing what's in their mouth. What's the message of the spider? Check what's coming out of your mouth! Paul writes, "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Ro 10:17). What are you taking in? What are you giving out? Faith or fear, hope or discouragement, joy or sadness, truth or error, love or bitterness? The Bible says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Pr 18:21).

Notice two things in this Scripture:

(1) This is a life and death issue.

(2) Your words are like seeds; they always produce fruit.

You can't believe God for His best, then go around expecting and expressing the worst. When what you say consistently, contradicts what God's Word says, you're sabotaging yourself. The words you speak have power - and consequences. So begin to correct yourself. Instead of saying, "I can't change," or, "I'll never get out of this mess," start saying what God's Word says. Do what Jesus did in the wilderness: open your mouth and declare, "It is written." Jesus knew the Scriptures so well that He was able to tell Satan, "It's written that I don't have to bow to you. It's written that I don't have to come to you for what I need." And what was the result? "The Devil left him, and angels came and attended him" (Mt 4:11 NIV). When you're under attack open your mouth, declare God's Word, and the forces of heaven will come to your aid!
