We live in a very difficult world. But it is our choice to make "our" world a much nicer place to live in. We should surround ourselves with individuals that are positive, nuturing, loving, spiritual.
I don't believe in destiny, I believe that we, ourselves, create our own destiny. It is our choice to be who we want to be.
I don't believe that if you've experienced a "negative" relationship in the past, that you should judge others by that experience. Not everyone is the same. Every individual is different. There are reasons for that person to have come into your life.
I read in the past that People come into your life for a "Reason", a "Season", or a "Lifetime." When someone is in your life for a "Reason," it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you thorugh a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. If they come into your life for a "Season", your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They may bring you unbelievable amounts of joy. A "Lifetime" relationship teaches you lifetime lessons. Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
I welcome new people to come into my life whatever season they may be. But I believe that whomever touches your life, may it be good or bad, you must remember to learn from that experience.
I am a grounded woman. Very strong in my beliefs and yet soft in my heart.
This is a poem that I wrote this month. It's how I truly feel inside my soul. Enjoy!

My Time To Scream
I'm screaming inside
It's so loud that it's driving me insane I see no light
I try to calm my inner voice.
It continues to rage.
An anger that consumes my very soul.
And brings me back again.
These words unsaid are filling my mind.
They words need to be heard.
Yet I am unable to quench
This undeniable thirst.
So much chaos surrounds my head.
It's a turmoil that consumes my inner core.
It goes all the way up to the ceiling, and
Then right back to the floor.
These words want to be formed.
Created for others to read, to understand
What I'm feeling to share my world, my need.
It consumes me night, and day.
As I try to calm this beast that wants
To rage, and not go away.
Should I give it wings to fly?
To form it's own mind?
Many people would be affected
By my words. Yet they need to be let out,
before I flip the hell out!
This is MY time, to shout, to scream,
To sing -- no one will stop me, be assured.
Whomever steps in my path,
watch out, hold on to something secure.
For I'm on a rampage!
Words are pouring out of me like a faucet to a drain.
It will not detain what's to come out, for I refuse to refrain.
So hold on to your seats people!
These words are flowing from this soul sista!
It's MY time to SCREAM!
So here me roar!
