I know hell.
It's here on Earth.

Wooden puppet arms and legs
animated by bulldozers,
grey translucent skin
stretched over bones,
blackened genitals,
deflated breasts.

I could have looked away
but I forced myself to watch,

She listens and ignores. I guess that was the agreement between us of never bothering each other ever again.
