My name is Vanessa, but many call me Vane. I am 24 years old, turning 25 in a couple of months, October 27th to be exact. My Mother is Cuban, and my Father is Spaniard. I was born in Hialeah, Florida. I love Miami and have lived here all my life even though I have visited my share of neat places such as: Spain, Minnesota, San Francisco, Portugal, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Tampa and Orlando. I am currently enrolled at Florida International University and plan on graduating this Fall with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I am very much into the Law Enforcement field, I am currently interning with the Hialeah Police Department. I work for an import/export company and even though it has nothing to do with my profession, I absolutely adore my job! I am a very goal oriented individual and I finish what I start, I am not perfect, but I can be your favorite mistake. Like every Scorpio, I can be demanding at times. Other than that, I am a very nice, honest, sweet, caring, funny, and mature at times. I have 5 brothers which I love with my life and would do anything for. By the way you treat your family, you will be judged, I mean think about it, If you don't love your own family, what can a stranger expect from you? At the same time, in order to succeed in any type of relationship, there must be trust and honesty, without that, friendships and relationships fail. When it comes to friends, I am not very lucky, growing up I had a few good ones, but everyone went their way..I can count my friends with one hand and maybe not even that in a few years, like Hector El Father says, "Amigo es un peso en el F**KING bolsillo". In this world that we live in, we have to make the best of it and live everyday as if it were the last because nothing is promised.
I would like to meet people that can be great influences to me and help me grow as an individual. I am not a gold digger, I work hard for what I do have and don't expect anything from anyone..but at the same time, will not settle for anything less. I am not looking down, but I see no one above me either. I am not shallow, as a matter of fact I am very friendly and love meeting new people, Interaction is the key to everything..It's all about networking and we can learn from one another.
As far as relationships go, I am sure we can all relate to a bit of betrayal and bad experiences. I am a firm believer that God places a few wrong people in our paths in order to appreciate the right one when he/she comes along. I am single, never been married, and don't have any kids. Please don't think I'm easy and send me a message that consists of, "Hey mamita, let me get your number and maybe we can chill tonight"..the answer is NO..I have a bit more of respect for myself and expect to be treated as a person and not an object. If your going to come at me with the right approach, I will treat you with the respect, if you come at me in the wrong manner, you will get what you deserve.
