"The Last Brown Beret" is a feature film that tells the story of 4 ex-Brown Beret activists, who were radical leaders in the late 1960's, in the Southwest of the USA. The story line is similar to The Big Chill. In fact, many fans that saw the play that the movie is based on, called it "The Big Chili". The play was performed across the USA to sold out audiences that enjoyed the play immensely. The play was titled "The Last Angry Brown Hat". It played at the Smithsonian Institute, Yale University, Notre Dame University, Northwestern, Princeton, Amherst College, USC, UCLA, Boise State University, amongst many others to include barrio centers as well as large theaters such as the Paramount in Denver, the Orpheum in Phoenix, The Wool Theatre in Albuquerque, Guadallupe Cultural Arts Center in San Antonio, etc.
The Last Brown Beret stars Robert Beltran, who portrayed Commander Chakotay on Star Trek Voyager for 7 seasons and Del Zamora, the main Waas Happening Boy from "Born in East LA".
