Kforce is seeking an Information Architect for a Middletown, CT client.

Position Functions:

Be responsible for modeling project-level data models for applications
Be responsible for coordinating and working with resources from the business, development, and database administration areas to develop an information solution that advances our client's business capabilities as well as aligns to best practices within Information Architecture
Have the responsibility for the gathering of data requirements through facilitated sessions or Use Cases, and designing data models based on those requirements
Must be able to influence the Project Team to design and build quality data models within defined standards
Have the responsibility for review and approval of the data model by the project team and the Information Architecture practice
The Information Architect is required to handle multiple project assignments, manage and negotiate a work load with the Project Manager, escalate issues as necessary to their management, and utilize excellent communication skills


Information Architect Qualifications:

8+ years in data modeling experience
Excellent communication skills, excellent time management skills, and must be able to work well in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex and often contentious issues and reach consensus and work through people to achieve key goals
Healthcare or Insurance / Financial Services industry knowledge
Outstanding oral and written communication skills including formal presentations for all levels of management combined with strong collaboration / influencing abilities
Experience with advantage and ERwin
Experience with Jumar and the Rational Suite (is a plus)
