Successful candidate will provide information system solutions and technical support at our Bolling AFB facility in one or more areas including personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, telecommunications and network support and administration.
Successful candidate will have expert experience in Windows 2000/XP operating systems and strong troubleshooting skills with various hardware and software applications (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, IE, Netscape, etc.).  Experience with thin client hardware is desireable.
The candidate must have a high level of expertise with Active Directory administration; and, must be able to utilize SMS to remotely troubleshoot desktop systems.
A solid knowledge of utilizing TCP/IP in LAN environment is a must. An understanding of DOD security policies and procedures is highly desired. High levels of customer service and communications skills are required as well. 
 
 Some Telephone support and customer interaction may be required. 
 
One of the following Education/Experience levels is required: 1. Bachelor's degree plus 3 years 2. Master's degree plus 1 year 3. 7 years of experience

This is a 2nd shift position.  Hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm. 

Note: Successful completion of a relevant IT certification may be substituted for one year experience.   

 

Performs other duties and special projects as needed and directed by the Manager.
 
In order to be consider for this postion an Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
