************UPDATE 3/17/08 I think I just took one of those questionnaire things thats so accurate its eerie............check it..... ********January Ambitious & serious Loves to teach and be taught Always looking at ppl's flaws and weaknesses Likes to criticize Hardworking & productive Smart, neat & organized Sensitive & has deep thoughts Knows how to make others happy Quiet unless excited or tensed Rather reserved Highly attentive Resistant to illnesses but prone to colds Romantic but has difficulties expressing love Loves children Loyal Homely person Needs to imporve social abilities Easily jealous (LATEST UPDATE...1/7/09 my bday of all things....LOL).........Abt me???.....Hmmm this is always an interesting way to think and learn stuff abt yourself...LOL!! Lets see Im a Detroit native who relocated to Chicago abt 2 yrs ago. Im single, 30, never married, nor divorced. Also, child free and ready for new experiences in life. I know I don't know it all nor have I experienced it all, but I will say that life and the obstacles it tosses me have become a little redundant and typical. So Im ready to open that next chapter of my life whether its solo or with I can finally see as an equal. I am pretty open minded, but still maintain some old skool latino tradition and standards within my relationship. I expect the best and refuse to settle, but more importantly what I expect is what I provide. I've been told I am picky and my standards are too high, but I guess whn you hold yourself and your woman in high regard there is no such thing as too picky, because I am unwilling to settle and waste my time. Afterall, you only have one life to live so your time is precious even though ppl don't project this. Sooooooooooo after being back on MG for what seemed like almost a year it has only been 3 months.........WoW!! Anyways, I finally to write a story abt myself and who I am. After really thinking after a New Year (2008) that was truly wack, I found out that I am Man amongst Men. I am a Man who loves ppl and most importantly the ppl who love me. I truly am a social being and life doesn't feel natural if I do not socialize and observe other humans. This would explain my degrees in Sociology and Psychology, no I didn't put that out there to ring my own bell, but simply to make a point. The point is...(if you haven't gathered it by now)...I need enticing and personal human interaction. Now I wouldn't say Im needy or anything of that nature, but I will say it is a void that needs to be filled, especailly since I like to pick pplz brains, but it has to have a natural element to it. More about me, I've been here in Chicago by way of Detroit for abt a year and a half now. Since being here I can say that I have met good ppl and have met more corny assssssss ppl....LOL!! I try no to be judgmental, but DAYUM!!! I left Detroit, because it no longer felt like home after 27 years. Besides I didn't want to be another person who only knows what area of living in there life. My next move will be out of the US or somewhr nice and hot in the US...........Im tropical what can I say, I do love the winter and snow, but I think its time to get my tan back and chill in a nice ocean. My likes and dislikes, I loooooooooove movies, most ones I've heard of or that have been recommended to me. I am not a celebrity worshipper, LEAVE BRITTANY ALONE!!!.....lol!! WTF??? My passion for film has a lot to do with the fact its fantasy and I can escape life for a while and just enjoy. I do not watch TV or listen to the radio, so good luck if you want me to know who the hell SOULJA Boy is...lol!! Man I just found out and am disappointed that Snoop Dogg is now sing R&B upbeat songs.....what happened to the "Doggystyle" days. $hit I guess we all got to grow up sometimes, but its still amusing that Snoop sings R&B and Ice Cube is doing family movies.....lol!! Guilty as charged, I think my favorite movies are family movies...lol!! Its the innocence and pureness that gets me. The TV I watch is whn Im flipping through just to see and now that American Gladiators is back........daaaaaaayum....lol !! Im a sucka for vintage TV, but my fav show right now is Runs House, they are nuts and like a HIP HOP Huxtables....do it run, his family is truly well rounded....lol!! Radio I don't do, cuz I don't do B.S., Im into HIP HOP not Rap, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease tell me you know the difference. Im into underground HIP HOP and scenes, problem is here in the Chi they really are underground secrets, dayuuuuuuuuum Chicagoians are stingy with they good $hit....lol!! Can I get a connection pleeeeeeeeeeeease. Women I like are the kind who are "seasoned" without being "over seasoned". I like a woman who abt her biz and agressive abt doing so and making sure her man does too, without being pushy or %#&@$!y. A woman who is independent, loyal, trustworthy and beautiful. Beauty truly is a combination of personal style and personality. I can't stand trendy ppl, although there are somethings that will catch my eye, but for the most part NO!!! If something is ordinary and I doing it I make it my own. I love attention and love women who get attention. Its not abt the attention abt how you handle it....lol!! Yo its like it nvr happened, reppin yo shhhhhhhhhhhh. Grant it ladys most men will look at anything and might drool a bit, but the ones you truly want and want to be with are the ones you respect....lol!!! Shhhhh that is if you a real man, its abt quality not quantity. I love a woman who knows shes ur equal and not a pedestal below or above you. A woman who lets you be who you are and vice versa. You get no special treatment from ya boy, cuz you my girl, if I gotta let you know, I gotta let you know, doesn't mean I don't love ya, just gotta rep! So those are my passions at the moment, women, movies and music. I am a man with a big appetite for life and ppl. Although, at this moment I am in search of finding the next level of Alexxx, so I've been laying low. I am a very laid back person who is animated and crzy when you first get to know me and then I flip it up and majority of the time I'm pretty quiet and serious. Im all abt letting someone know who I am, where I stand and everything there is to know abt me. Once that has been established I leave it you to do the same. If I don't see that happening I can shutdown or simply cut you off....lol!! I am a fun loving person, but more importantly I'm abt handling my business and involving myself with situations and ppl that I feel will benefit me in any way. I made it this far in life by educating myself and being real with myself that my life was going to be abt continuously upgrading and bettering myself and surroundings. 2007 was a great year for that in my book and I feel 2008 will only bring more blessings. I believe you meet everyone for a reason, good or bad ppl you come across in your life you usually hold some higher type of significance. It seems like I went on a rant for a second....lol!! I will leave it here, because most don't read anyways, I know I don't, but my ppl have been asking why I haven't posted things abt myself, so here it is.
