I had a great childhood, what can I say - born and raised in Manhattan New York, near Central Park West, both my parents come from Puerto Rico and most of my older relatives too, from a little town called Arroyo, so I'm what you call a New York Rican. Say what you want, but as long as my blood line is P.R. that's good enough for me. I had a great up bringing, great parents, great sisters, a great brother, great relatives, great family, and great friends (only the one's that count). they all consider me so high up there, their love for me is so big, I can't even explain it. when it comes to other X's, which are few. they also treated me so special, so kind and with respect and love. I may have not gone to other states and flown around the world, but in my years, I can say that it's been great, a few setbacks, but those don't compare to the love everyone gives me as the person that I am. I am lucky that people like me for me, because of my personality, my character, the way I am. I am one that cares about family and relatives, I might not show it at times, but I wish I was surrounded by my family everyday, being happy and enjoying their company, that is how I grew up, family and friends everyday in the house and when I was with my kids, everyday the house was full with some of their friends, and I am talking about 4 kids and they all had different friends, so you can imagine my house, not to count my friends when they use to pop up. I love my kids to death and I would do anything for them within my power. I have raised them to be good kids, while growing up, they NEVER gave me any worries of trouble or problems. I have 2 grandsons, which I love more then my own kids and I'm about to get 2 more grandkids this Dec of 2009.
I was married for 27 years to the same man and the father of my kids, and even though the marriage didn't work towards the end, it was rough and I dealt with it, God helped me see it through. and I never abandon my kids and got through my depression okay and through it all, I remember the good and that's what got me through the depression and now I can talk to him in a civilize and mature way after 8 years because he NEVER left us hungry, without clothes and provided a safe home for me and the kids and whatever I wanted, no matter what - he would get it for me. It's sad that we had to get a divorce, but thinking back, it was for the better, for him and for me and for my kids, that's why I don't hold any ill feelings for him and I wish him the best. God has a plan for all of us and we are not one to question him, but only follow his wishes until we find the answer.
I'm a Cancer, so naturally, I appreciate being at home as I also like to go out from time to time. I love being like a kid and I also like to be romantic and mature, I adore my family and from the deepest core of my heart, I love my kids and grandkids to death. I enjoy giving, rather then receiving. I love to laugh, hear jokes, stories, clown around, be happy and just enjoy my life and my surroundings, because you never know when the good Lord is going to say: "OKAY, YOU HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH FUN."
I respect everyone's habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, economic level, that together constitute the mode of living of an individual and I expect the same in return, (no more and no less)
I like my personal life - personally I like my social life - socially I like my business life - business like
I know when to act my age and be serious, sophisticated, and an lady because I am educated, experienced and a adult, but I also know when to act foolish and not my age, knowing the differences makes me wiser.
Some lie through their teeth, some lie looking straight at your eyes, some make it a habit, some are just use to it because they have done it for so long, but my question is "WHY?" if sooner or later the truth always prevails and always comes out and most people know this - then why lie in the first place?
