I found safety in my cocoon for many years, sheltered from the hurts life threw my way.

I've been growing, one day at a time, to become the beautiful, angelic creature
I'm meant to be within the haven of the cocoon.

Then one day, with lots of hard work and determination, the cocoon opened and
the Angelic Butterfly emerged stronger than ever before.

As the wings slowly unfurl, so many dreams, long forgotten, are beginning to be realized.

As the comfortable fear melts, and feelings are felt,the wings are fully expanding to reveal the true beauty.

I marvel at the array; Deepest sapphire blue, Renewing amethyst violet,Tranquil aquamarine
Iridescent blushing rose, Sparkling and Radiant

As the butterfly begins to take flight and soar to new heights once thought impossible.
With the help of God, and the Angels, the only way for this butterfly to go is up!

Woman was created from the first man's rib, God chose the rib because it's the bone that protects man's life. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile.

You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart, so support the man as the rib cage supports the body.

You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him; his compliment...under his arm to be protected and next to his heart to be loved.

Man represents my image, woman my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God.

So man, treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt me. What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father, and the heart of her Father.

Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness, show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

Genesis 1:18,21-23-God went on to say:
"It is not good for the man to continue by himself. I am going to make a helper for him, as a complement of him." God had a deep sleep fall upon the man and, while he was sleeping, he took one of his ribs and then closed up the flesh over its place. God proceeded to build the
rib that he had taken from the man into a woman and to bring her to the man.
Then the man said:
"This is at last bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.
This one will be called Woman, Because from man this one was taken."

"SISTERHOOD"

When I was younger, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend. When I became a woman, then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends.

One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man.

Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.

Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.

One friend will say let's pray together, another let's cry together, another let's fight together, another let's walk away together.

One friend will meet your spiritual need, another your shoe fetish, another your love for movies, another will be with you in your season of confusion, another will be your clarifier, another the wind beneath your wings.

But whatever their assignment in your life, on whatever the occasion, on whatever the day, or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ... those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman, but for many it's wrapped up in several... one from 7th grade, one from high school, several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, several from church, on some days your mother, on some days your neighbor, on others your sisters, and on some days your daughters.

So whether they've been there 20 minutes or 20 years,

Be grateful for the women that God has placed in your life to make a difference.
