Beyonce rose to fame as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling female groups. After a series of successful singles with the group, she released her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003, which topped the album charts in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. Beyonce's sophomore album, B'Day, was released on September 4, 2006 to coincide with the celebration of her twenty fifth birthday. The album includes hit songs (UK #1) "Deja Vu", "Ring the Alarm", and (US #1) "Irreplaceable". Beyonce has also co-starred in two films, working alongside Mike Myers in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" in 2002 and with Steve Martin in "The Pink Panther" in 2006. Her last film, Dreamgirls, starred her as Deena Jones and won three Golden Globes and two Oscars.
Beyonce has ended her 2007 World Tour, and has released a new DVD, "The Beyonce Experience-Live!"
