Bobby Valentino knew music was his destiny at an early age. Like every true artist, Bobby was driven by the need to express himself through the creation of good music. Musical influence from greats like Anita Baker, Marvin Gaye and by R&B groups Jodeci and H-Town inspired Bobby V to carve his name into the burgeoning music scene. Musical platforms such as school, church and wherever he was amongst an audience led to his first steps into R&B notoriety. His desire to perform finally paid off as he was singing on a school bus where he was first discovered. As a new found member of the Organized Noise Family, Bobby learned firsthand how great music was made from icons such as Outkast, TLC, and Goodie Mob. In a world that seemed almost perfect at that time, Bobby became the lead singer of teen group Mista that produced the hit "Blackberry Molasses". Successful as they were, Mista did not release a second album. With just a taste of the glory, Bobby was well on his way realizing his dreams. He partnered music and education as he pursued his degree in Mass Communications at Clark Atlanta University where he later received his degree. His hard work in school and his hard work in the studio shortly lead to his discovery by Atlanta's own Disturbing Tha Peace Records. As Disturbing Tha Peace Records first R&B addition, Bobby V will release his debut album, appropriately titled "Give Me A Chance" set to drop in early 2005. His first single "Slow Down" produced by hit makers Tim & Bob, is making serious noise on the mix tape circuit and on radio stations nationwide. From his appearance on the soundtrack to the hit film "Sharktales" along with label mates Ludacris and Lil' Fate to his appearance on Ludacris "The Red Light District" album and the soundtrack to Adam Sandler's remake "the Longest Yard" is just a foretaste from Bobby V. If this is your first time, it will not be the last that you can experience greatness from the talented Bobby V. At 22, the budding Bobby Valentino, combined with all of his experience and influences is determined to reintroduce hot, sexy, and memorable R&B ballads to the masses.
