THOSE EYES

 

 

Have you ever seen a pair of eyes so beautiful,

that you hate to look at because they're truthful?

Have you ever seen a mouth that you just have to touch,

but hate the words that come out because they hurt so much?

Have you ever seen a pair of hands you just have to hold,

it hurts so much to know that someone else warms them

when they're cold? I'd seen that in just one guy,

I wished it'd last forever but he said goodbye.

I never saw it coming, I didn't get a sign,

until that day I found out he was never

really mine. I remember the night we ended, even though

it's been so long, even months later I get the urge

to ask him, "Where did we go wrong?"  How can the person

go from being your ideal mate...to being the person

that you most hate??  Well that's what happened between

me and him, if he goes out then I go in. I never look

him in the eye, ever since that night he saw me cry.

I liked him then I hate him now, a lot of people wonder

and ask me how...I'll explain what I feel, how do I start?

I remember the bad times in my head but the good

times in my heart. It's a battle between my heart and mind...

one is smart but the other is blind. My mind says that

there will be other guys...but my heart will

always want the look from "THOSE EYES".
