To anyone reading this profile, I hope that all is well with you in your corner of the world. I've been a member of MiGente for sometime now. My compadre and college buddy referred me here long ago as a place to stay in touch with Raza (our community) and share common interests. To be clear, I'm not here to make any "connection", but rather to share and exchange views of common interest as they relate to politics, education, community pride and activism, not to hook up with anyone. When I do come to MG, I spend time discussing or perhaps debating current events as shared in the "news" link above. In short, I like this as a forum for networking.

It seems that staying in touch with my MG friends isn't always easy. As I mentioned previously, I enjoy sharing and one thing that I do share on an ongoing basis is humor with friends and colleagues. To that end, we may develop a dialogue and rapport with one another which might result in placing new contacts on my humor distribution list.

NOTE: I know that I'm not unique in this experience, but I've been getting quite a few invitations from profiles from which I've never had an exchange of notes/email nor any indication on the "page log" that the person checked out my profile. Then when I look at the profile it shows a short messge with a reference to a different website to check out. Please be on notice that I will NOT accept any invitations if there has not been any prior contact. Some people might be fooled by such spam, but I refuse to be one of them.
