The smile on my face hides the troubles inside

To be used and confused and just pushed on the side.

My heart is slowly being sketched from lies

And the people who do it don't even realize.

You played with my emotions and made me believe your true

When in reality, you're not the man I though I knew.

Now you say I'm sorry and what you did was wrong

You still believe that our love is so strong.

But I don't want the heartache or the tears

I'm ready to move on and put away my fears.

It's time to start new and go on with my life

And for once start doing what I feel is right.

I was at work

Just like an ordinary day,

When I heard your life ended

In a tragic way.

It seems like yesterday

That you were by my side,

Holding my hand

And not trying to hide.

Who knew that one incident

Would tear us apart,

I would never see you again

We had to depart.

I cry every night

Thinking of you,

That is made my heart

Turn from red to blue.

I wonder to myself

Will I see you again,

Or is this just a dream

Waiting to begin.

I realize this is not a dream because

Your not in this place,

Now I'm sad and devastated while

Tears start to fall down my face.

Looked like a fight but it was really not

Many people were around when they heard the shot

Who knew your "friends" would turn against you

You thought they had your back and everything was cool.

You were laying in the street, crying and in pain

Blood covered your chest and you were going insane.

You didn't know when, why or how

You kept thinking, "I can't leave the earth right now."

Your breathing got harder and all your girlfriend did was cry

She kept questioning herself why? oh why?

She hugged you so tight and said she loved you

She gave you a kiss goodbye because she already knew.

A tear from her eye fell on your cheek

That's when you died, your heart went weak.

Your body went cold as everyone stared

If only you realized how much they cared.

All that's left is ashes and dust

And memories of one who everyone lost.

Inner feelings of the heart

Now I know I loved you from the start

Looking at everything in our life

Only wish is one day to be your wife

Very sweet and respectful too

Even I don't know what to do

Wondering and wondering what this is

Intentions of a long sweet kiss

Talking about our life together

Happiness that we will share forever

Yelling and screaming is never a threat

Over and over I believe my life is set and

Ultimately happy that the two of us met.
