I have recently moved into Virginia. Had to adjust to my new assignment in the Navy. I have been in for 17 years. I guess that is almost a lifetime. I learned my hidden passion for Salsa Dance and music in 2005 when I was stationed at Camp Arifjan,Kuwait. I would attend Salsa events there. Our DJ there was a Puerto Rican from Ponce named Carlos. He would spin some Salsa, Bachata, Merengue. It did not matter there Soldiers,Sailors,Arimen and Marines ladies and gentlemen would dance there together. It made hell seem like not such a bad place. I remember nights where I would Salsa Dance with Cute Black women,Merengue with sexy Latin women and one night where I danced Bachata with a Pretty blond lady a medic from the 101st Airborne. She was short yet beautiful. Hey at 5'8" i am taller than some women. Those nights will be in my memories forever. Dancing Salsa with Tracy Quatar. Merengue with a hot blond Marine named Amanda in Quatar. Now after almost 4 years on the USS Never Pier. In Jacksonville,Florida for 4 years in port there 6 Months. I now have a boring sidewalk job in Norfolk. That is ok with me as my wife and two daughters enjoy having me at home. I am a Warrior and thirst for adventure. I am an Engineering type and a partial gearhead. I love motorcycles and do not own one yet. I have ridden them as a passenger on one twice years ago. I love to Scuba Dive and dream of visiting Puerto Rico on vacation some day. Those are my dreams because who can afford a Harley Davidson these days. Sweet Bikes but boy are they expensive. I have Harley taste on a Honda budget. I have been to many european countries and most of whom I wish to never see again.
