WOW. Not that Top is all that great of a cut, and Safeway meats are ungraded so it's not USDA Choice, but if you're a beef jerky producer Top Sirloin is the best beef available for it. The Top Sirloin is a lean cut and can be tough. For grilling marinating with a heavy acid based (wine, citrus, soy sauce) is a must. A simple marinade is 2 parts soy, I part Worchestershire, I part garlic oil. Give this a good 48 hours marinating, and serve medium rare to medium.
I went on a nice 30 km. cycle ride today, 18 miles or so in the non-metric system. It was a beautiful Labour Day Sunday. Ottawa has some 300 km of maintained bike paths ( About 180 miles). They run mainly along the rivers that are in the Ottawa area and along the UN Heritage Rideau Canal. They also go through forests and across a heritage Experimental Farm that was once on city outskirts in 1900; but, is now the largest farm within any city in the world. It is 500 acres.
Are you new to low carb dieting and need some good snack ideas. The first week or two can seem pretty boring but don't worry it doesn't last forever. After induction is over you have a lot more choices, but for now if you need a few ideas for snack and appetizers, I have just the thing. I too went through this boring period of trying to figure out what I can eat for snacking. Meals was no problem, I had that down pretty well. But it is a lot harder to figure out what you can eat for snacks. If you're in the Induction Phase, you're pretty limited. But once you've passed that you have a few more choices.
If you're talking to a large group of people you want to be absolutely sure they can hear you. There's almost no way you can yell over the sound of hundreds of people talking aloud. You can spread your voice across any crowd with excellent PA systems.
