Life is too short to be anything but HAPPY! ♥♥♥&heart s;♥♥♥&hea rts;♥ Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had told their new wives what their household duties were to be. The first man had married a woman from Tennessee. He bragged that he had told his wife she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning. He said it took a couple days, on the third day he came home to a clean house and the dishes were done. The second man had married a woman from Florida. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. On the first day he didn`t see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the dishes were done and he had a huge dinner onthe table. The third man married a girl from New Jersey. He boasted that he told her that her duties were to keep the house clean, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn`t see anything, the second day he didn`t see anything but by the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye just enough to fix himself a bite to eat, load the dishwasher, find a cleaning lady, and telephone a landscaper. ♥♥♥&heart s;♥♥♥&hea rts;♥ "A Good friend will bail you out of jail, a Best Friend will be next to you saying, "Dude that was freaking awesome!" ***In the end the love u get is equal to the love u give. ***Do not take life too seriously; you will never get out of it alive. - Elbert Hubbard ***Many of us spend half our time wishing for things we could have if we didn`t spend half our time wishing. - Alexander Woollcott ***Eat, Drink and Be Merry-some very smart person "Men are like parking spots, the good ones are taken and the free ones are handicapped." ♥♥♥Toodle s♥♥♥ favorite songsfriends (19,004) |

So I'm applying to grad school and was blessed with the broad topic of "write a personal statement". Except, I feel like when something is sooo open, I tend to ramble (much like in my blogs). I come to you for some constructive criticism, tell me what you think. ***** "Gracias por cambiarnos la vida Sra. Vélez!" shrieks a little dumpling of a mother, who rushes toward me with a bear hug at my waist due to her small... (continue reading) Chapter 59- Be ThankfulPosted
"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." ~ Marion Wright Eldeman "He used to touch me and my sister," she whispers, looking down across from me in a secluded study section of the library. I'm sitting across a 13 year old girl who is telling me she has been sexually abused by her father. I don't know what to do. She is... (continue reading) Chapter 58- Single-nessPosted
“You sound like you have it together. So why are you single?” he asks. I look around, nervously laugh, and finally respond a lame, “I really don’t know.” After meeting and greeting a wide array of people, I find myself feeling quite inadequate despite the fact that I know I’m an amazing person. Yet at 25, puppy-less, childless and mate-less, it becomes a far more common question attached with a negative connotation. So...
