Sheena Singh was born in Lowell, Mass and raise in Miami... Still currently living there she works hard on her music hoping that some day her music and her natural charismatic graceful attitude and voice can reach millions. Tye Banks interviews Sheena featured Latin artist! TB: How you doing Sheena? SS: Good... TB: Could you tell us how long have you been singing and who inspired you? SS: I had been singing since I was 12 years old; performing in modeling, dancing etc. since the age of 5. When I go on stage I do my best, by thinking Im the best .Love to improvise...I always feel what I do...Mariah Carey, Selena, Bob Marley, Tupac...and most importantly my mom who has been there for me all the way!!! TB: How would you describe your music to some one if they never herd it? SS: I describe my music ...music with passion, passionate more emotional melodies, sensibility...I love the music and overwhelming passion and ability for great songwriting. I write, rehears and present my songs on a level as if my lives depend on it. When someone comes up to me and they say heard me. It makes feel so good. TB: What things have you learned sense you started singing? SS: Never give up until you have reached your dreams... Believe in yourself and you'll get very far.. TB: Do you have any up and coming events or c.d.s about to be released? SS: The only thing I can tell you is that I am working on my Single right now it should be soon...I will have some events @@@ I am still working on my music. TB: How is it being a Latina female in the music industry? SS: Being a Latina has definitely helped me...Being a Latina in this business has its ups and downs!...Because who I am is the most important to me, and in the end its what I can bring to the table that counts...As a young artist, female singer I can captivate any soul and eye of my funs...sending a positive and different message through music. it is a great challenge...as an American singer songwriter and been active in the music industry since I was 12 year old...I was Born with mixed bloods...Cuban Brazilian India...I sing in both languages very well English and Spanish...great combination:) TB: Do you write your own music if so what motivates you to do so? SS: Yes I do...I write my own music...As a songwriter/singer. I had been writing music for long time//when i write a song it is not to making a hit if just create When it comes to me. My lyrics come from real issues, real feelings. Whatever about love (meant to me) the songs comes from my heart.....Emotions, strong music ...and rhythm........ TB: Whats the best way for old and new fans, to keep up on whats going on with you? SS: The best way is to keep update with my music and performances ...Always give my best of it... TB: Where do you see yourself in 10 years SS: Hopefully, still alive and a as a successful singer....I will see my self accomplishing my goals... I see myself hopefully singing all around the world. SS: Life-long dream is to drive a BMW convertible, red, with 10 inch rimes and a big radio system; hopefully some turbo in it.. l love cars they have always fascinated. When I make it ill be sure to collect them. Right now I can;t afford it because I am on a budget with my music. I am driving a 2002 Suzuki aerio/silver, very economic and never give me any engine problem, thats why I love Japanese cars; It;s actually a very cute car.
